The top I created was inspired by the aquamarine dress from the S/S 2007 Jean Paul Gautier collection. I used a pair of my dad's jeans and made an emphasis of the seams by having them go under the bust, and as a halter-neck strap. I left the hem raw to give an edge to the otherwise 'finished' garment. For the photo I used another pair of men's jeans and cut them off just above the knee; the slouchy-ness seemed to add something. Not only is this outfit eco-friendly; it's wearable.
