When researching Mexico, I came across bull-fighting to be a great part of the history and culture. I wanted this dress to contrast entirely from the bull in the way of elegance and femininity while still having aspects of a strong, powerful bull incorporated into it. Which is why I decided to use the bull's horns as a motif in my dress; there is a large, greyish-white horn resting on the hips which acts as a belt and there are two small horns closing the back of the dress in a Paddington coat style! The dress material is light, breezy and flowy and the bottom of the dress is taken from the Mexican dancing. I couldn't help but add a headband that is yellow and black fabric in a plait style which complements the design.
