Title: Furia (Mexico Design)

MY INSPIRATION FOR THIS DESIGN WAS THE MEXICAN BULL FIGHTING ARENA, IT IS AN OLD TRADITION AND I WAS INSPIRED BY THE COSTUMES AND THE EMBELLISHMENT ON THEM AND THE RED COLOUR THE MAKES THE BULL BECOME FILLED WITH RAGE. THE FULL SKIRT AND THE PATTERNED FLOWER UNDERSKIRT WAS INSPIRED BY THE DANCING THAT I DISCOVERED WITH THE MEXICAN WOMEN TWIRLING AROUND. THE UNDERSKIRT IS PATTERNED TO ADD SOME HIDDEN VIBRANCE AND FUN TO THE SEEMINGLY PLAIN PASSIONATE DRESS. I WANTED IT TO HAVE BOTH THE PASSION AND RAGE OF THE BULL, THE DECORATION OF THE BULL FIGHTERS, AND THE COLOUR AND LIGHT - HEARTEDNESS FELT BY EVERYDAY MEXICANS - WITH A BIT OF MYSTERY.
