My inspiration came from researching the culture of Mexico. The green,white and red diamond-shaped beadwork on the waist area reflects the colours of the Mexican flag. The pattern at the bottom of the dress reflects the Mexican state of Oaxaca. The back of the dress is typical of the Latin styles worn in the region.
