Black and white Aztec evening gown

Whilst researching Mexican culture, I was attracted to the different styles of Aztec patterns commonly used in Mexican art. I felt these patterns not only conveyed the Mexican theme but would also work as decorations in my dress design. I used contrasting black and white to enhance the Aztec patterns to make the dress elegant and contemporary. The skirt of the dress would be made in chiffon to make it hang nicely and the bodice of the dress would be beaded satin.
