Title: Work-In-Progress

I chose Ed Sheeran as my inspiration for this piece because it was his music that stood out to me the most. It is soulful and calming but his colourful personality makes brighter and more interesting to listen to. He said that he felt he could 芒聙聹paint with music芒聙聺 and that he loves colour so that inspired the whole design for me. I think that Ed is still a bit of a work-in-progress and that influenced me to make the background plain white; to show you can add whatever you want to your own canvas and be whoever you want to be. The idea also comes through in the jigsaw-style portrait of Ed. I made each section a different colour because the one thing that is constant in Ed芒聙聶s music is colour. I left the colour centre piece of the portrait unaltered to show the stage in his life that is complete. The rest of the pieces, however, still aren芒聙聶t sure precisely what they want to be and have yet to fit together in that exactly perfect way that most things do in the end. The font is Dragline BTN Dm I think it suits Ed because it is simple yet effective.
