Title: Ed Sheeran

I chose Ed Sheeran because his music sounded most like something I would listen to. The way the music itself doesn’t sound like its come straight out of something electronic always catches my attention. I had always thought that album cover should be something that the singer feels strongly about, and Ed comes out as being very individual. This is why I had decided to sketch everything on the cover I have created. I used a tonal drawing for the portrait, but decided to only colour his eyes and bracelets, as they were the parts of him that stood out to me most. The other parts on the cover (Score and Train tracks) were added because of what Ed says in his interview. The Score is coloured, with the notes coming off as its the first idea I had as I had listened to his music (don’t know why, I just did.) The train tracks are a personal aspect, as he has a collection of old train tickets. My design is quite busy, and sketchy, as I think it could be representative of what goes on in his brain, jumbled, but set on what he wants to do.
