I chose Ed Sheeran because his music and image appeared to be creative in his video profile. His down to earth nature comes across in his composed acoustic music. I knew I wanted to create a design that reveals his natural relaxed feel. The lyrics to his songs always tell a story about life and illustrate ideas, thoughts and feelings. For the background I used bold overlapping layers of patterned leaves to create a busy composition. I chose warm autumnal colours to represent his organic natural music style. I changed the scale and the colour of the portrait photograph to blend in with the background, which create a feeling that he is at one with nature and his music. I feel that I have used the image of Ed successfully as his face blends well with the background; it shows him hiding within a mountain of leaves. This gives you a vision towards Ed Sheeran’s personality.
