Title: Rizzle Kicks Album Artwork

I chose Rizzle Kicks because I really like their music and style. After watching their video and reading their profile I went onto their Myspace and had a listen, and found myself addicted. Their music inspires me as I am the same age as them, their lyrics make sense to me. The design I have made for their album cover reflects their cheeky teenage personalities, and is quite fun and interesting. I made use of layering, with some scrap paper and masking tape scanned in for the background, and some doodles I drew for a creative touch, both elements of the design reflecting their messy, exciting teenage lifestyles. Doodles like these are the sort of thing 17 year olds do when bored. In the doodles I drew, I added some things that I found the duo are interested in, such as the football (and obviously, music). I also incorporated their music style within the text with cables and a microphone, which I also hand-drew. I used muted colours so that the design doesn't look tacky, and it fits really well with the black and white of the doodles. Portraiture: I chose this photo of Rizzle Kicks because I think it fits in really well with their personality, and it was easy to make a design with the photo in mind.
