I listened to all three bands on the site and the one I liked and connected to the most was Ed Sheeran, I found his music really inspirational. When I listened to his music it was very acoustic and I loved it, so I thought maybe try and tie in some kind of earthy object/theme, so I had the idea of a tree with curling branches. I did the background and tree in acrylic paint because I wanted the natural, earthy theme to come back into it. When I did a copy of his picture I wanted to make one side of it black and white so he’d seem like an ordinary person. Then I wanted to edit the other side and make it green and orange so he’d be more colourful. I chose to do this simply because he came across like the kind of person who has 2 different sides to him. I did my editing on Picnik as it would have a better effect and would make it stand out a lot more against the background.
