I choose this band because I really like and identify with their music. I used both drawing and photography to reflect and represent the fusion of their musical influences. I chose to draw the band by hand to get across the relaxed atmosphere the band create. I feel that the overall simplicity of the image forces the viewer to focus their attention on the band themselves. It was the bands comments about their image that inspired me to create portraits that have become almost ‘anti image’.
