Title: I love you like no other
by Josh from Norfolk | in writing, poetry
As I lay at night, thoughts of you fill my mind.
Your perfect form flooding my senses.
You capture me behind a wall of love.
I feel alive whilst you rest in my heart.
When I see you there's a force that draws me to your smile.
It's so warm and friendly that I just can't resist.
When you smile I smile.
I feel alive whilst you rest in my heart.
As you lock your arms around me in that trademark goodbye hug.
I feel my body tingle with the warmth and love that you present to me.
And then I realise that you are simply saying goodbye.
I feel alive whilst you rest in my heart.
As we sit on your bed and watch the movie.
I place my arm around you for comfort.
You did not move it, yet you don't feel about me like I feel about you.
I feel alive whilst you rest in my heart.
As I lay looking at the stars.
I think of you.
And I want you here with me.
I feel alive whilst you rest in my heart.
There's a love inside,
That I find hard to hide,
So I let it out.
I feel alive whilst you rest in my heart.
You know I love you.
And you would rather just be friends.
I don't dare to tell you how much that hurts me inside.
I feel alive whilst you rest in my heart.
Like the others, about a girl I liked probably too much. But at the time she was all I thought about. And I write poems to take things off my mind.
