Title: A girl I once knew

by Arani from London | in writing, poetry

I once knew a girl
Who was beautiful;
Many wanted her,
More wanted to be her.

Her hair fell to her waist
Cascading like a waterfall
With curls and twirls:
Black darker than ebony.

Her eyes were emeralds
Worth more than a million.
Her look would pierce
Even the hardest heart.

Her lips were petals
From a rose in full bloom.
She had a dazzling smile
Which could enslave the world.

I once knew a girl
Who was beautiful;
She had everything
But she didn't have a clue.

With ignorance she had beauty,
With knowledge came regret.
She took him from me
Breaking three hearts at once.
