Title: Murder Most Enjoyable

by Matthew | in writing, fiction

I walked over to the first person I saw, who it turned out just happened to be the gang leader, I challenged him to a fight with no guns, this was common practise back then, it is a dying trend now though. We touched hands; I opted to wear my boxing gloves, simply because the punch I was soon to throw in the direction of his face would normally hurt me more than him. But it wasn't fair to knock the guy out immediately.
I let him have a good last fight, I threw a palm strike that I felt the bounce of his nose on, and of course he then used his favourite kick: the jumping axe kick. I then through about eighteen jabs at him, and finished off with an incredibly hard sidekick in his stomach. Then to make sure he was definitely dead I walked over his body. I've had people pretend to be dead on me before, so I'm always quite weary of people lying on the floor.
Of course I wasn't done, I had to beat the reserve leader, as I had already won a battle that night against a high ranking person I was allowed to use a knife. I chose my machete as weapon of choice. It was getting late, half past one in the morning, so I wanted to do the damage quickly. I thought about just stabbing him, but then it wasn't exactly a fight, so I did a few kicks and punches with my famous nosebleed punch actually working. Five minutes later I drew out my knife, I slashed through his shoulder, blood was dripping from him, but the sod was still alive, I then got the knife and plunged it into his heart, more blood dripped with fury.
He keeled over.

This is just a little bit from my most recent story, it isn't the full story so might not seem right. I hope it stills comes across good.
