Title: Saturday
by Eloise | in writing, fiction
It was Saturday the very best day of the week. This is because every Saturday my mum takes me out to the shopping centre. At the shopping centre they sell those lovely big ornaments and statues, and books and clothes and so on.
Today she took me to a very unusual place where they sold very unusual things.
Mum asked if I liked anything. I answered the only thing I liked in this shop was that very delicate stony weird looking statue over there. She said that was the thing that caught her eye too She asked the shopkeeper if she could buy it.
'Yes madam, its thirty pounds fifty pence." he replied.
We carried it out to the car. There was a lot of traffic on the way home. I asked mum if I could get out my new statue. "Yes" she said and turned round for a moment or two "But be very careful and don't -" she was cut off short.
"Muuum!" I screamed "Stop you're about to crash!" but I was too late. She had crashed into the car in front of us. When she looked up there was blood all over her face.
"Nooooooooooooo!" I screamed........
In life, little things can start big things but can also prevent death in it's most simple form.
