Title: That spiral you've seen before

by Maryanne from West Sussex | in writing, poetry

Another day Another lie,
Trapped in a routine,
Edging ever nearer,
That spiral you've seen before.

Inside your box, four solid walls
But Alas! your box has a door,
Your isolation is an option,
That spiral you've seen before.

Is there a wall you'll never climb?
A sight you'll never see?

A light will come,
But soon will end,
It's the shadow that's your friend.
That spiral you've seen before.
