Title: Invisible

by Isis | in writing, poetry

I walk these crowded hallways and still feel totally alone.
I watch them laugh and feel my sorrow grow.
I'm on my own even when I'm with them.
They talk but I don't hear the words they speak.
I hide away so they can't see me,
So they can't look and judge.
Then they find me again and lure me in,
Only to turn their backs once more.
Now I know what its like
To wish you were invisible.
