Title: The sea calls
by Chris from Northamptonshire | in writing, poetry
Listen to the wind and some do see
The ever calling of the sea
Untouched by man for many a year
And its beauty does glow and sheer
The seagulls fly high above
And to the sea denounce their love
Boats and ships often do try
To sail as far as a bird can fly
However the sea has a kind of its own
And at times let's its wrath be known
No one man can ever truly defy the colour
Of all from the sea to a flower
The ocean calls to sailors
'Help me for I need a saviour'
Even today its calls are unheard
And all that arrives is a flock of birds
Listen to the wind and some do see
The ever calling of the sea.
The sound of seagulls
