Title: Destination
by Jordan | in writing, poetry
I'm on a journey without a compass,
You're my destination,
And your eyes are my north star.
I walk in circles waiting to reach the end,
To be held in your arms,
To feel the softness of your touch.
The sensational feeling I get when our lips are pressed together tight.
I'm on a journey without a compass,
You're my destination.
Your smile is my sun,
It rises in the east
Sets in the west.
Opposite, because you make life feel unreal.
I'm on a journey without a compass,
You're my destination.
You're my ice cream on a hot summer day
And warm blanket, when winter comes to stay.
You're my fallen star in the dark night sky,
The cure to this heartache,
My one true love.
I'm on a journey without a compass,
And you're my destination.
