Title: Putting my life in pixels
by Christina from Hertfordshire | in writing, poetry
I'm going to put my life in pixels
Every single day
My family can be JPEGs
I wish they'd stay that way
My best friends are all bitmaps
The quality's sublime
They can view them when they log on
Every single time
I live behind my keyboard
There's a world behind that screen
A life without the Internet
Would surely be obscene
I can only type in txt tlk
In myspace and msn
Everything's full of phrases
Like by bbz, l8er then'
I'm going to live my life in pixels
Every day from now
My world will be cyberspace
I don't care why or how
There'll always be the World Wide Web
A place where you can be
And one day in your browsing
You'll come across me'
With the vast amount of social networking sites around, some people really are living their life in pixels. What is the real world?
