Title: Summer
by Selom from London | in writing, poetry
Thunder, lightening,
hail like hell.
The rain splashes to the ground.
Quite.
The thunder lets out a loud roar.
Gently, slowly the rain falls,
down it goes my window seal.
Slowly.
The clouds cover the skies,
grey, the hidden blue.
Silence.
The hail bashes against the window,
violently, then gone.
The sight, depressing and dark.
I thought it was... maybe not now.
Well I guess that's it.
Summer.
No need to woe in sadness,
the sparkle at the side of my eye,
the sun's ray shines through
as if to reach out to either me or you.
The clouds unfold to reveal the heaven's doors.
The blue skies like clean waxed floors.
Pearl white.
Clouds no longer grey,
now a pearl white shade.
Wind blows mildly,
softly, as leaves rustle on tree tops.
Warmth.
The giant lightbulb, revealed,
the heat shining through my window
warming my body side.
I smile lightly, for I know.
Just an effect,
a show from mother nature.
Summer has truly come.
