Title: I find it painful
by Mari from London | in writing, poetry
I find it painful: The pain that comes from nowhere.
My heart screams with agony and I grimace.
I find it painful: Where my heart was, now grows longing and sorrow...
There is no longer beauty to the world, there is no longer light.
I find it painful.
I find tears always in my eyes and my heart ceaselessly pours with blood.
I find it painful: I am suffocating from the loss of your love and I find it hard to breathe.
The world is now a slow agonising blur...
I stagger forwards, biting the torment to a momentary standstill before I am completely consumed again.
I find it painful: I wake up in the stench of love around me and I find it hard to open my eyes.
This life that I have now; I find it painful.
I was watching a very sad film one day and I had a favourite character and I felt so hurt for him that I thought that writing what he felt would be relieving myself some of that pain.
