Title: Don't touch my buttons
by Cierra | in writing, poetry
Please don't touch my buttons,
The two buttons on the front of my sweater.
They're my buttons
Two round buttons
On the front of my sweater.
They're happy buttoned
Covering that little jewelled expanse
Of skin between the plackets.
My buttons like
Being buttoned.
They like fastening the cover
Of places not your own.
Please don't touch my buttons.
Written for the buttons on my sweater, of course! Also a homage to the poem 'Hips'.
