Title: Once upon a time

by Hannah from West Yorkshire | in writing, poetry

Day after day, life drifts away,
And the fairytale's just falling through,
A once upon a time,
Novelty Rhyme,
And the pictures remind me of you.

Today was hard, tomorrow-impossible,
I tell myself I will pull through,
And once upon a time,
When you were mine,
There was nothing that we couldn't do.

I know it doesn't get easier,
I know I may not pull through,
Because once upon a time,
Everything was fine,
Now I only have memories of you.

Life is so empty and hollow,
An illusion ill never see through,
Cause I've had once upon a times,
And Novelty rhymes,
But who am I without you.
