Title: Apple
by Callum from Cheshire | in writing, poetry
As I bite into the luscious green apple I hear the crunch like the clap of an angel. I get transported to my paradise I can imagine the sunset, a terracotta sky full of subtle tones and deep reds the sun like a big bronze ball balancing on the horizon before dipping into the tranquil blue water. The juice jumps from the apple onto my chin like rain on a window. The sweet nectar wakes my taste buds and cascades down my gullet like a river over a waterfall. The flesh crunches as I greedily devour the apple like a lion in the Savannah not knowing when it will eat next. All that are left are the pips planted, preparing my next snack.
An Apple
