Title: Reality
by Michaela from Cornwall | in writing, poetry
I float through the world of turquoise clouds and cherry blossoms,
Freedom, thought, beauty,
From the larges dinosaur to the tiniest possum,
Within the mysteries of the jub jub tree and the Jabberwocky,
But always haunting eyes of expectancy,
Wait in greedy glints of anticipation,
Clawing gnawing, in raging mockery,
Acceptance an invisible creation,
Drifting through a relentless day,
Judgement and sinister frowning,
Swimming in a world far away,
While with humans I am drowning,
A spinning top of emotion,
An aching heart,
Bouts of manic depression,
However can I part?
The great paradox that is my life,
Living out my days in its half-hearted ways,
Perfection my endless strife,
Eventually engulfing me and becoming my grave.
Writing is a great way to express my emotions and after a bad day I feel content once I express myself.
