Title: Components of nature
by Danielle J from Northern Ireland | in writing, poetry
As I hear it howl among the tree tops
And see it jostling the huge clouds across
The sky.
Ripping havoc through the forest,
Upturning huge oaks and
Sycamores.
Devastation this element causes.
Refreshing, clean, bland and tasteless.
Swirling around me making me dizzy
It can be kind and gentle,
Cruel or kind.
Flickering, dancing burning like evil,
Red hot and sizzling,
Demolishes everything.
Spits and cracks, roars and laughs.
Aggressive and dangerous
Cruel and evil.
Ignites and destroys
When contained can bring comfort and joy.
Stale and damp,
Cold and un-wanted.
It's dead-like and chalky,
It's cruel and evil.
Shaking and tumbling
Eating up everything
But it's mostly quiet and speechless with just dead bodies within it.
Pure as crystal trans-parent and clean,
It's calm, it's soothing
And usually at rest.
It can be as loud as a lion,
Or as quiet as a mouse with white horses galloping to wards the shore head.
It's gentle and stagnant,
Its everlasting it's fresh.
It's uncontrollable and dangerous,
Some times devastation with in it!
