Title: Holding out and helpless

by Kerry from Scotland | in writing, poetry

Holding out and helpless
Distance in between
And time between hour less
Dirty hands with white wash clean
Why do we/I always end up with less?
Not enough time seen
Everything in my life unfolds, such a mess
And you, you remain just as mean
Without my heart, I shall digress
Here you are your face hidden
For her approval, you seek to impress.
I'm left here hanging, all of a sudden
Your skin, now hers, I long to caress
