Title: If you died tonite
by Kush | in writing, poetry
If you died tonight I would never forgive myself for letting you go, I would never forgive myself for being so dumb to know the love that we shared was so strongly impaired that not even cupid could bring us back together.
If you died tonight we both would know that we were once a whole, now what is left is pieces from our hearts on the floor from our demeaning words still hovering around them. We would not look back at the past but foresee the future, for only there rests the real meaning of our relationship.
If you died tonight I would never forgive you for leaving me alone in this sinister world; suffering like a stray animal during winter not knowing which way to run and hide.
If you died tonight, since you were my first love, I wouldn't be writing this to you right now I would be reading it with you in heaven because if you died tonight my body and soul would die with you.
Since we both didn't die tonight, I'll presume like our lives, our relationship will progress into something more than what it is now'. hatred towards each other.
