I'm an orange.
You're a banana.
He's an apple.
They are grapes.
They look different.
They taste different.
Are they different?
Aren't they fruit?

There is a division in society nowadays between different cultures which posed the question 'are we not all human?' and made me reflect this in my poem. Also, the novel 'Oranges Are Not The Only Fruit' by Jeanette Winterson was inspiration
