Title: Just a boy
by Fen from Lancashire | in writing, poetry
Once a boy,
in his teens,
found a field,
where the grass was green,
roses red,
lavender blue,
where the closed buds sparkled,
in the morning dew.
t'was a place of beauty,
a place of dreams,
a place of joy,
or so it seems,
and with a face,
as pale as death,
and eyes,
as cold as stone,
glances down,
at his worthless body,
his useless skin,
and bone,
a tear glides down,
his frozen cheek,
his world a lonely night,
in a field of beauty and colour,
he's ugly, black and white.
I drew a picture of a black and white boy in a colourful field, and then another of black and white field with a colourful boy and girl in it holding hands and wrote a poem 2 match-but I never finished it, it ended so perfectly where it was.
