Title: Anxiety
by Debora | in writing, poetry
Her normal body
Walking to the kitchen
Opening the cupboard
Takes out a crisp packet and then another
Her father calls her fat
She jokes about it
But she feels angry
Holding back tears
She goes to her room
Listens to music
Sad songs blast the house
'Dinner time!'
Her father shouts
No footsteps sound
She stays in her room
Her father doesnt shout again
So she hasn't had dinner
Went to bed hungry
Knowing that not eating is bad
But she she doesn't know what to do
She can't diet
She doesn't exercise
Her father tells her to exercise
Yet he won't let her
Take an after school sport
She needs answers
Her normal body
Walking to hte toilets...
When i get called fat its just how i feel but i've never done it before.
