Title: Choked
by Charlie from Cornwall | in writing, poetry
Fight back the tears,
Don't let them take hold,
My energy spent,
My soul is sold.
Trapped and choking,
Struggling for breath,
Lash out in anger,
Lie begging for death.
Tightened to snapping,
Wound like a coil,
On the outside I'm blank,
On the inside I boil.
I was feeling really choked by the routine of everyday life and how pointless it all is sometimes. I think this was succesful because I was thinking and feeling it at the time. Enjoy!
