When I went away

Ever had the heart to love me

I told you that
24 years of my life
Can be summed up
By just 3 pieces of paper

The first is a birthday card
From my father
Who never loved me

The second is a Christmas card
From a man I foolishly thought did

The third is a visiting order
From my brother

I told you my reasons

I told you why I did it

I told you so
