A fleeting smile
On a strangers face
Be happy for a while
Finish the race

Don't let jealous people
Get you down
Just stop paddling for a while
You won't drown

Leave behind
What makes you sad
Don't be unkind
Don't be mad

But just remember
June or November
Not to regret
What happens next
