Title: Diary Of A Teenage Witch

by Mollie from Essex | in writing, fiction

By the way, I am being serious; Ms. Arnolds actually expects us to audition for a play. Even more importantly, it is a summer play! The time that is meant to be easy, the play goes on during the time after our mock GCSEs which is when we are meant to be relaxing, and she wants us to AUDITION FOR A PLAY!!!!!!!!! Why does she do this to us every year? No ' scratch that ' why does my mum make me do this every year?
That's right; every year my mother makes me audition for a play I don't even want to be in! She gets me to wear my best clothes (as we don't have uniforms at our school), which to tell you the truth, aren't that great (faded denim jeans and white, puffy sleeve t-shirt) and practise a scene from Shakespeare, and so every year I queue outside the gym with other hopefuls and watch everyone do their pieces, and every year I check the list for my name and every year I see that I'm NOT ON IT! But I still go every year, because I have to make my mum happy; and every year she comforts me and says it's okay, and there is always next year. I can't do it this year! I just CAN'T! Not after what's happened to me! Alright, you're probably wondering what is so wrong with me that I'm having a complete spaz about it.
