Title: Stars are;

by Nia from Norfolk | in writing, poetry

Stars are bright lights,
shining in the dark.
Stars are big bubbles,
showing you the way through the park.

Stars are silver dots,
on dark black paper.
Stars are love at first sight,
usually you see them later.

Stars are little lightbulbs,
flickering in the night.
Stars are sparkling crystals,
they glitter when there's no light.

Stars are floating balloons,
going way up high.
Stars are balls of cheese,
staying still in the sky.

My inspiration for this poem was my english class as we were learning about similes and metaphores- we had to write a poem either about stars, the sun, or the snow.
