Title: Unrequited
by Jazz from Kent | in writing, poetry
Come and strike me over,
Oh I'm drowning in this crying
'Just thirteen, and its all for you,'
You break this moment, silence,
A time to wither at your complication
Will I ever face the real you?
Why you? Why me?
Even they know we're meant to be.
That kiss, a gift from me to you,
An utter act of a loss for control.
That day, I threw away,
The blindness between us.
Rise up the ghost of what we had,
Exist without you; I would die a broken spirit,
Amongst my sleep it lives on,
A replay, so desire, so burning, so desperate,
Even magick brought fate,
9pm, to shake ones heart.
Did you think of me?
Just take a thought,
You will find me.
I close my eyes so tightly; I fall to your feet,
I'm captivated, oh stop this torture.
Twisting, writhing for something (someone) more.
Why you? Why me?
Even they know we're meant to be.
Exhaustion- my prize for dying in your arms.
If I wrote pretty enough words,
Could we complete our kiss?
Don't make it hurt, rewarding for the ones we love,
And if I fall I could miss so much.
Don't ever let me.
I wrote this back when I was thirteen; I was very much infatuated with an older boy who lived in my area. I was young and I was literally obsessed with him, even though he had no feelings for me whatsoever, I found it very hard to let go.
