Title: First love
by Faith | in writing, fiction
I never loved someone so much before, not since, I first set my love. She sat there on the bench; her face glowed with support from the halo. Her blue eyes sparkling and staring intensely at a beautiful red rose. My heart started going into overdrive and I could feel my face burning: the colour red, the colour of love.
I knew she was the one for me. I was deeply in love, soaring up to the sky like a love bird. My legs froze to the swaying grass and refused to walk away from this angel.
The trees and bushes around the park elegantly lit up to a silvery midnight. The birds sat patiently in the twining trees, watching. The ground seemed to turn to a romantic red. The whole park seemed so different now I was in love. The things I called beautiful like the twining trees that tickled me when I walked underneath them and the beautiful majestic birds all seemed so boring, now I was faced with an angel.
I felt like my breath and had been taken away. I couldn't breathe; she was doing it for me, taking away my breath.
I felt so happy and joyful. She was beautiful like the moon, shining in darkness. Her face lit up like a light bulb being turned on for the first time. She was smiling showing her pearly white, perfect teeth. My heart was pounding she was walking delicately and gracefully like she weighed nothing. I could imagine a gold ring engraved on my heart.
O we'd be together for eternity leaning on each other good or bad. She starts to come towards me, I can smell her sweet, stunning perfume. She gracefully glides past me no smile, just a cold, hard face.
Is love's bed always snow?
And then I see my angel, not alone but holding someone's hand, a man's. My heart misses a beat. She took my heart away but didn't give me hers.
I am now lonely and waiting for another angel to come along.
Who knows when that day will happen?
I got my inspiration from a poem called First Love by John Clare. It captured me almost instantly as it was so beautiful and amazing.
