How can you know you don't love me if you've never tried?
Your name was the one I was calling the night I nearly died.
I woke up in the hospital calling out your name
Knowing you would never even look at me the same.
You tell me of the men you've met dancing out in town,
I secretly wish you would just turn all them guys down.
I'm overrun with jealousy, even though you are not mine
But I fear you will fall in love again and just leave me behind.
I Wiseman that I once knew said that destiny is fate,
I don't want love without you so I guess I'm far too late.
I've had enough with writing this sad and tragic rhyme
So I guess I'll say I love you just one last heartfelt time.
