Title: An extract from my story, Forgotten Tears
by Gwen from Scotland | in writing, fiction
Cathy's sobs caught painfully in her throat, her eyes stinging and brimming over with tears. Logan's looked deep into hers as they hugged each other close, the fierce winter wind battering the uncovered nape of his neck. She sobbed again, her tears staining Logan's otherwise pale green shirt. Her chestnut hair fell in front of her face and stayed there, hanging limply, until Logan brushed it away with the back of his hand. She looked up into his face. His hair was flopping down in true rocker-boy style, and, although he was crying, he smiled down at her.
I've been writing this for a long time, but I have recently re-written it.
