Title: Love
by Tlily from London | in writing, poetry
I wish I had love to take over my world,
to make me: sweet, pretty happy, bold,
But I am left slightly hollow
the lump in my throat hard to swallow.
I can't help feeling a twang of regret,
maybe I didn't make the best of opportunities met!
Maybe I'm just destined to be alone,
my maiden name resting with my dead bones.
I must survey the world with an open mind,
God only knows what I might find.
