Title: my identity as a muslimahh

by Amani from London | in writing, poetry

Scarf wrapped around my head,
Long length dress loosely around my body.
Garment covering my face nothing to be seen but my eyes,
Gloves tightly around my hand even in the warmest of summers.
Although it is hard I am not forced to do so some may think me''''''''''''......................
oppressed
or depressed,
I will not give up my religion until my last breath.

My inspiration came from my religion and what was happening to my kind around me.
