Title: Eloise
by Olivia from Gloucestershire | in writing, poetry
She sat in the corner
away from the others
because she was strange and distant
They thought that she saw
a wooden framed window
pasted with grime and dust and dirt
They were wrong about her
from outside she seemed weird
but inside she was beautiful and glorious
She did not see a window
but instead a great land
blossoming with flowers and fruit
Across the wide glade
where her witches rested
smoke of green and blue tumbled down
Dazzling princes searched
for their young maiden
riding atop jewelled creatures
Women stood
outside their houses
planting their new gremlins in rows
Wizards cast
their noble spells
from every corner of her world
and she who
was the greatest of them all
sat upon a grand throne of white
She surveyed her land
and loved it
reality does not matter
I based it on a friend. Could you please comment, because I haven't been composing long and would like a bit of help.
