Title: Unknown at the minute

by Serena from Northamptonshire | in writing, fiction

It was four hours since Lois had got in the bath, and now the water was stone cold. It had also been four hours since that phone call. Now she'd never felt more alone. She shivered and blew out the candles that had been delicately placed around the bath tub. 'Lets stay together' was playing on her beaten stereo player, all ready for her romantic night with him. She kicked the stereo out of the way and began to sob'

It was seven months ago since she first laid eyes on him and she still got butterflies in her stomach at the sight of him even now. They had met in a local bar after she had finally plucked up the courage to return his invitation for a drink. It was his handsome Latin looks that first attracted him to her; his eyes portrayed so much emotion; he didn't even have to say a word to let her know how he felt. She could still remember the clothes he wore, the words he said, the way he smelt and best of all the way he kissed her at the end of the night on her door step.

From then on they were inseparable, the perfect couple. Her lips were always chapped from frequently kissing and they pair were seldom spotted outside her house. 'But it's not just about the sex' she frequently told her friends, 'I think he's the one!' They talked about everything, their pasts, their present and their futures; the big things, the small things and everything in between. She was falling in love with him and when she gazed in to his coffee coloured eyes, she knew he felt the same

She fell on to her bed, and allowed her long blonde locks to cover her face. She hated him!!'She hated him'but no, it was no use. She was desperately, breathlessly and inevitably in love with Brad James, the only man she knew she'd ever want. A wave of nausea washed over her, and she put a protective hand over her stomach. September the 21st wasn't just seven months with Brad, another surprise was supposed to be congratulated tonight ' she was pregnant'
