Title: When I'm begging to you people

by Sam from Warwickshire | in writing, poetry

When I'm begging to you people,
And asking if you all,
Could try to give some pennies,
It won't really make you fall

Why don't you seem that keen?
Is it the way I dress?
I don't really know,
But this point I must stress!

Please give us homeless a chance,
We're not really how you think,
We do want to rebuild our lives,
And not spend our money on drink!

I was inspired to write this poem as in English at school we were focusing on the topic of the homeless and got surprisingly involved in it. I am great lover of poetry and hope you appreciate my poem. I am always writing poems and have many in my collection.
