Title: Staining my diamond-encrusted Heart
by Georgina B | in writing, poetry
I am beautiful.
I am invincible.
Fame drips from my skin,
Light seeps out of my glowing smile.
I have the world at my fingertips.
This is all I ever wanted.
I have the thousand eyes,
Worshipping hands clapping in a timeless dance.
The photographs of a glittering girl,
Her eyes glazed with the honour of gold.
I'm living in a dream world,
No one can touch me.
But beneath the velvet gown,
and the skin soaking in rubies,
Is a girl who still wants it all.
I want it all to make me happy.
My silver teardrops are trickling through me,
Staining my diamond-encrusted heart.
