Title: A Blue Morning

by Gregg from Leicestershire | in writing, poetry, nature

A Blue Morning

Flutter, Flutter
To the skies, the silky wings soar
Overhead, the swoosh sounds;
Louder, like the approaching of hooves
Yet quiet, sounds only the eye can see.

Chirping, Chirping
The voice of it speaks,
Humming its beautiful crescendo
As the Sun brings its daylight in ripples.

Thud, Thud
As ancient bark meets pearly talon.
Shiny black eyes meet with mine.

Only threads of Dusk between us;
The Veil of Heaven is opened.

To the new day we fly.

Just something I decided to write after I woke up one day.
