I came up with the chords for this song first and composed the music with various instruments and computer software. I finally composed lyrics, which I sang over the song. I really wanted to ensure the mood of the lyrics matched the mood of the music with this song. I also have attempted to add more bass and 'punch' in this song, as I feel that was what my songs have been lacking. I have used some vocal distortion at some parts of the song, but it is not to an extreme degree. But adds a dance-pop feel to song.
