When We Were Goldfish And Had Deja vu
by Vasco

1.

We darned the absconding stars
Fading glow stabbed into the ashy ocean
Beneath we knew nothing of the curse
That was slowly fogging our desperate vision

We were webbed by the dewy touch
of the forbidden bliss , and then were scattered
like the darkness nesting among the shattered
stars , beneath the kelp's sigh eclipsed our doomed lurch

And then ...
We were lost again .

2 .

We had the weary waves drowning the black
moon , the blooms of rusted corals sang of our
forsaken dreams that left their shadow on the dark
to whisper the dumb breeze about their vigil hours

We echoed the prayer of the blemished stars that
once being unforgiven gloomed their dewed fear
and like them , we did feel the marooned or the distant
oyster's clouding our story that only we couldn't remember

And then ...
We would be lost again .
